Bright Horizons is the Early Years and Childcare Workforce Development Team for Wiltshire. We work on behalf of the Wiltshire Early Years Development and Childcare Partnership to provide financial help with courses and qualifications for the counties childcare workforce, help people find a career in childcare, by providing information about current vacancies, as well as support employers with information about training and employment issues.
 

Wiltshire Training Grants

Childcare Grant

Training grants are available through the Sure Start Childcare Grant for Wiltshire registered childminders as well as voluntary and paid childcare workers in pre-schools, nurseries and out of school settings. For further details on the current subsidy levels and the application process click here: Grants 2010-11

 

Graduate Leadership Fund (GLF) 2008-11

 

The Graduate Leadership Fund (GLF) aims to raise the quality of Early Years provision by supporting workforce development. This new funding stream represents an unprecedented long-term commitment from the Government to provide public funding to introduce more graduate leaders in full day care PVI settings. There are 3 strands within the GLF, these are:

1. Funding for Foundation Degree courses

2. Graduate Quality Premium (GQP)

3. Home Grown Graduate Incentive (HGGI)
