Bright Horizons is the Early Years and Childcare Workforce Development Team for Wiltshire. We work on behalf of the Wiltshire Early Years Development and Childcare Partnership to provide financial help with courses and qualifications for the counties childcare workforce, help people find a career in childcare, by providing information about current vacancies, as well as support employers with information about training and employment issues.

Cookery Course for Cooks in Early Years Settings 

This cookery course has been specifically created for those catering within early years settings. Held at the Food Centre, Royal Agricultural College, Cirencester it will consist of 2 sessions held 3:30-6:30pm (weekdays). The course will be delivered by a professional chef and in a kitchen which is attractive, modern and efficent. Equality & Diversity Training 2010 

This FREE course will allow candidates to reflect on their own attitudes and beliefs and and discuss what is meant by an anti-bias approach. Candidates will also look at identity, culture, race, ethnicity, gener, age, sexual orientation and disability. Health & Safety, Risk Assessment & Fire Safety Training 2010

This FREE course will look at the health and safety aspects of the Welfare Requirements for all settings including Childminders, Early Years and Out of School Clubs. It will give practical information and guidance to managers, supervisors, administrators and anyone with duties for health adn safety for the setting ensureing that those responsible are up to date with current and future legislation.
