We work on behalf of the Wiltshire Early Years Development and Childcare Partnership to provide financial help with courses and qualifications for the counties childcare workforce, help people find a career in childcare, by providing information about current vacancies, as well as support employers with information about training and employment issues.

Still unsure? We can organise a ‘Taster Session’ which will give you a hands on experience of what it is really like to work in early years and playwork settings in Wiltshire. During the day you will be supported by a member of staff and will be able to see how practitioners help develop children’s social, creative, physical and imaginative skills. You will also observe the routines and duties of the various members of staff and be given:

· A brief Health and safety induction.

· A tour of your facilities

· A copy of the curriculum plans for the day

· An introduction to care routines
